The costume that Bucky has made by Wakanda is the perfect blend of Falcon and Captain America - it retains the wings of the former, but gives it the latter's color scheme, with a particular focus on it being white (especially the wings) and blue (predominantly the legs), accompanied by some red accents, not too dissimilar from one Sam wears as Cap in Marvel Comics. To that end, then, him being given a new Captain America suit at the end is the completion of this part of the journey, and now he is fully ready to become Captain America just as Steve wanted, except now it's on his terms.Īs for what Sam's Captain America costume will look like, this has been revealed by toy leaks. While Isaiah Bradley may not agree, it's clear that those around Sam believe in him, and most importantly he begins to believe in himself, even getting a Rocky-style training montage with the shield. Sam has already reclaimed the shield by this point, and the episode devotes a lot of time to discussing the notion of a Black man being Captain America. Given the timing of the moment and the music that swells up around it, it's pretty clear there's a new Captain America costume in the box Bucky gives to Sam, likely one made at least partly of vibranium, but it will also feature new wings as well. Earlier in the episode, Bucky handed Zemo over to the Wakandans, allowing him to once again face justice for his crimes. Bucky and Sam's bond is stronger than ever in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 5, "Truth," which extends to the former giving the latter a gift.
